The CCRS "Dollars for Scholars"  Scholarship Program was created to assist students who otherwise would find it impossible or at least very difficult to obtain a college degree. The scholarship award covers a portion of unmet college cost and it is calculated on the college's Cost of Attendance minus other grants and scholarships. Each year, a scholarship is awarded to an enrolled CCRS Scholar's  program student who is enrolled full-time in their state of residence.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. While Giving Tuesday happens every Tuesday, the annual celebration of generosity will happen on December 2, 2025.This Giving Tuesday, join us in transforming lives and making college more accessible for all! We invite you to support our campaign aimed at covering essential operational costs and funding scholarships for deserving students.

Higher education opens doors, yet the financial burden can be overwhelming. The rising cost of college tuition and related expenses has become a significant barrier for many students and families across the United States. While financial aid programs and scholarships exist, they are often insufficient to meet the full cost of college, including tuition, housing, textbooks, and other fees.

Our mission is to assist and empower first-generation, underrepresented high school students and their parents through the pre-college admission process. We believe every student deserves access to higher education and to the resources and support they need to succeed, regardless of their background or financial situation.However, to maintain our programs and offer scholarships, we need your help.

Your Contribution Will:

1. Cover Operational Costs ($5,000): Your donations will help sustain our vital programs, ensuring that we can continue to provide high-quality education, support services, and resources that empower our students.
2. Fund Scholarships ($15,000) : By donating, you’ll directly contribute to 5-6 scholarships that help reduce tuition costs and alleviate the financial stress many students face, allowing them to focus on their studies and achieve their dreams.
